Chop the onions and garlic and fry them till golden in oil. Cut the meat into cubes and add it, with the spices; cook until the meat is coated. Add the stock and transfer the food to a saucepan. Simmer for up to two hours. Stir in the soy sauce and season with salt to taste. Serve with plain boiled rice (Basmati, if possible).
